Abstract The sunspot number is the most used solar-activity index to study behavior of solar activity. In this work, we reproduce methodology Coban, Raheem, and Cavus ( Solar Phys . 296 , 156, 2021) using a long short-term memory model with daily data from American Association Variable Star Observers (AAVSO) predict maximum amplitude Cycle 25.
